Quiet Places is a limited edition photographic series exploring absence, architecture, and American stillness. Each image was captured using a malfunctioning Leica M9 with a deteriorating CCD sensor. The resulting bloom, tonal drift, and softened edges were not corrected. Mechanical failure became part of the language of the work.
These photographs document structures that outlast their purpose, streets that hold their breath, and thresholds suspended between memory and disappearance. The camera’s instability mirrors the instability of recollection. What remains is atmosphere.
