Blending Tarot symbolism, Zen philosophy, archetypal psychology, lunar wisdom, and mixed media art, each lesson becomes a portal, inviting you to embody myth through sacred creativity. You’ll travel through the Major Arcana, from The Fool to The Wheel of Fortune, creating not just art journal pages, but talismans, altarpieces, prayer beads, candles, mandalas, and maps. These are offerings to your becoming.

Through guided meditation, sacred journaling, intuitive collage, and hands-on ritual craft, you’ll explore both the luminous and shadow aspects of creativity. This is not about mastering technique; it is about remembering who you are through the symbols that already live within you.

You’ll learn to:

    What It Is:
    choose a small object that symbolizes a “fragment” of themselves, a key, a toy, a mirror shard, an old love letter, or even something broken. They then build an altar box or matchbox shrine around it using collage, paint, wax, poetry scraps, and personal symbols.

Specializing in cerebral, emotionally charged storytelling, her work delves into the complex realms of me, bringing a raw, unfiltered perspective to the human experience. With a background spanning from military service as a B-1 bomber crew chief to working closely with the neurally diverse community, April brings a unique depth to her narratives. Her current graphic novel project, The Chaos of Lucifer, is a testament to her commitment to creating gritty, resonant stories that explore the fragility and resilience of the human spirit.
