WHO IS THE HIVE
Indovia works with real world allies. The Hive is one of them, a Bowling Green, Kentucky nonprofit building belonging, skills, and opportunity for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Hive exists to create opportunities that enrich, enhance, and empower lives, with a vision of a community that embraces inclusion and participation for people with diverse abilities.
WHAT HIVE MEANS
HIVE is an acronym for Habilitation, Information, Vocation, and Education, built around what adults with IDD often lose access to after age 21.
WHAT THEY DO
The Clubhouse is the hub, plus family support, resources, and advocacy work aimed at improving inclusion and access across Kentucky.
WHAT THEY ARE NOT
Not adult day care. The Clubhouse is a community enrichment center, members may bring their own support services as needed.
THE HIVE COLLAB WALL
This is where the real world meets Indovia. These pieces come from building Ladybird Boxes with The Hive, alongside Nathan and Noah, with game club energy baked into the process.
