Purple Inkwell Studios · Pilot Production Initiative

Made for Geeks by Geeks

What began as a long running game club evolved into something bigger, and during Covid, Made for Geeks by Geeks took shape as a real world creative initiative.

Today it stands as a story driven learning project where imaginative play becomes a doorway into creative writing, short story creation, comics, character design, puzzles, collaboration, and hands on storytelling for neurodivergent and creative learners of many ages.

A creative mentorship initiative where imaginative play becomes a pathway to storytelling, design, teamwork, communication, and real world skills.
Pilot Phase Active Public Debut · July 18, 2026 Bowling Green, Kentucky
"It started off as a game club and ended up being a real world adventure."

Back in Action

Some things begin quietly. A gathering. A ritual. A club built around imagination. The game club itself had been going on for years before Covid. But during Covid, Made for Geeks by Geeks was formed as something more intentional, a way to build, mentor, teach, and create something meaningful together when the world felt uncertain.

At the heart of that adventure is Ladybird Jenkins and the Indovian Academy, a story driven literacy adventure designed to support neurodivergent and creative learners through structure, curiosity, and shared imagination.

This was never just about making a box. It was about building structured opportunity, shared authorship, and a welcoming place where creative people can contribute, learn, and be taken seriously.

The road has not been neat. There were pauses, grief, new skills to learn, depression, rebuilding, and the very ordinary chaos of being human. But the dream itself stayed alive. That is why this return matters.

It creates a place where imagination becomes a real skill path, where creative minds are respected, and where learning can happen through making, story, and meaningful participation.

Project Mission

Made for Geeks by Geeks is the hands on production and mentorship arm behind the Ladybird Jenkins boxes. It exists to create story driven artifacts that feel like they were pulled from another world, built for curious readers, makers, and learners.

The team is not just assembling parts. They are learning real world creative and professional skills: communication, workflow, presentation, design thinking, collaborative production, accountability, and what it means to bring an idea from concept into public form.

Participant Experience

  • Hands on experience with real product assembly and presentation
  • Creative mentorship and guided skill building
  • Practice with communication, teamwork, and defined responsibilities
  • Exposure to story development, visual thinking, and audience experience
  • Documented contribution to a live convention debut

The Production Team

These are not just builders in the background. This is a mentored production team learning how story, design, collaboration, communication, and public presentation work in the real world. Each person here contributes to the process and gains practical experience that reaches beyond this one event.

Financial Transparency

Purple Inkwell Studios has personally funded the first production run, including materials, prototyping, supplies, and the labor required to bring this pilot to life. This was not done from convenience. It was done from commitment.

Early sales help recover those upfront costs so the project can continue with dignity, grow into cleaner systems, support fair compensation, and keep creating opportunities for the people this work was built to serve.

If this mission speaks to you, and if you believe in story driven opportunities for neurodivergent and creative learners, donations are deeply welcome. Support helps us keep building, keep teaching, and keep opening doors.

Oversight & Evaluation

This initiative operates as a real world pilot. After the expo, workflow, sustainability, audience response, and community impact will be reviewed through a six month evaluation window.

The goal is not to pretend everything works. The goal is to build something meaningful, test it honestly, and move forward with clarity, gratitude, and intention.
