1) Discovery → Scope & Fit
We start with your goals, audience, and constraints. A short discovery call or email thread is enough to size the work and propose milestones.
- Inputs: goals, references, deadlines, deliverables
- Output: written scope + estimated timeline
2) Proposal → Milestones & Quote
Fixed-scope projects receive a flat quote with milestone dates; open-ended work is billed hourly or by weekly sprint.
- Includes: schedule, rounds, formats, rights/usage
- Payment: 50% to book, balance on delivery (or per milestone)
3) Make → Drafts & Reviews
We share work-in-progress at sane checkpoints. Feedback windows keep momentum while protecting deep work time.
- Typical cadence: weekly check-ins or milestone reviews
- Revisions: 2 rounds standard (additional rounds available)
4) Deliver → Files & Handoff
Clean, labeled files with export presets. Print and web formats included as needed, plus a concise “how to use” note.
- Formats: PDF/AI/PSD/PNG/SVG as appropriate
- Add-ons: brand sheet, style notes, asset map
Typical Timelines
- Cover illustration: 2–4 weeks (concept → final)
- Illustrated spread or poster: 1–2 weeks
- Manuscript critique (5–10k words): 1 week
- Workshop residency (school/library): book 4–6 weeks out
